The West Highland White Terrier, commonly known as the Westie, is a breed of dog from Scotland with a distinctive white harsh coat with a somewhat soft white undercoat. It is a medium-sized terrier, although with longer legs than other Scottish breeds of terrier.

The Westiepoo is a mixed breed dog resulting from the cross between a West Highland White Terrier and a Poodle. This hybrid breed is also known by other names such as Westiedoodle and Wee-Poo.

The Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is a breed of dog used in hunting as a gundog. It is sometimes considered to be Dutch in ancestry, due to the nationality of the breed founder, Eduard Karel Korthals.

The Australian Kelpie, or simply Kelpie, is an Australian sheepdog capable of mustering and droving with little or no guidance. It is a medium-sized dog and comes in a variety of colours. The Kelpie has been exported throughout the world and is used to muster livestock, primarily sheep, cattle and goats.

The Xoloitzcuintle is one of several breeds of hairless dog. It is found in Estándar, Intermedio, and Miniatura sizes. The Xolo also comes in a coated variety, totally covered in fur. Coated and hairless can be born in the same litter as a result of the same combination of genes.

The Yakutian Laika is an ancient working dog breed that originated in the Arctic seashore of the Sakha Republic. Yakutian Laikas are multipurpose laikas, able to herd reindeer, hunt game and pull a sled. They are registered with the Russian Kennel Club, the FCI and the AKC's Foundation Stock Service.

A Yorkipoo is a charming and energetic mixed breed dog resulting from the cross between the Yorkshire Terrier and a Toy or Miniature Poodle.
